During the final stop of his This is America tour in Los Angeles on Monday (Dec. 17), Childish Gambino revealed some devastating news — his father, Donald Glover Sr., has passed away.

Gambino previously announced that his next album would be his last under the Childish Gambino moniker, as he wants to avoid being redundant. “There’s nothing worse than like a third sequel, like a third movie and we’re like, ‘again?’” he was quoted as saying. This song will likely live on that project.
